Jason Stokes

at the GULF COAST CLAY CONFERENCE

Jason Stokes, a member of the the Stokes family of potters (Holly Hill Pottery), will demonstrate pot throwing on Friday.

Jason is a full-time production potter at Holly Hill Pottery in Navarre FL. He has been closely involved with the creation of the Gulf Coast Kiln Walk organization and with the design, construction, loading and firing of the organization's kilns.

The pots shown to the right are samples of wood-fired pots by Jason Stokes. These pots were fired in either the anagama or the Ralph Howard Phillips reconstructed groundhog kiln at the Kiln Walk site.

Also shown, Jason stokes the anagama kiln in 2008 in one photo and unloads the groundhog kiln after its inaugural firing post reconstruction in 2009 in another.
